VCU Acceleration (VCUA) is a pre-matriculation summer session and academic year-long program for graduating high school seniors entering VCU who are interested in health science careers. Participants take non-credit math and science coursework taught by VCU faculty, attend health career workshops and hospital tours, and live together in a residential learning community during their freshman year.

Eligibility
Must be a graduating 12th grade student accepted into VCU as an incoming freshman, have a minimum GPA of 3.25, and commit to the summer session and living on campus during freshman year.
