VCU Acceleration (VCUA) is a comprehensive pre-matriculation summer session and academic year-long living-learning program for graduating high school seniors entering Virginia Commonwealth University who are interested in health science careers. Participants complete non-credit math and science coursework taught by VCU faculty, engage in clinical workshops and hospital tours, and live together on campus during their freshman year.

Eligibility

Graduating high school seniors accepted into VCU as incoming freshmen who are interested in health science careers, have a minimum GPA of 3.25, and can commit to both the summer session and living on campus during their freshman year.
