Tyson Environmental Research Apprenticeship (TERA)
The Tyson Environmental Research Apprenticeship (TERA) is a field research program based at Washington University in St. Louis's Tyson Research Center for St. Louis-area high school students who have completed the prerequisite SIFT program. Participants work as paid members of university research teams alongside scientists, postdocs, and university students on environmental biology and ecology projects. The program includes a six-week summer experience plus academic-year outreach and a capstone weekend in Mark Twain National Forest.
