Winship Summer Scholars Research Program
The Winship Summer Scholars Research Program is an intensive six-week, in-person summer program that pairs ten to twelve high school students with Winship physician or laboratory researchers. Participants engage in hands-on cancer research, attend faculty-led lectures on oncology and cancer biology, and participate in field trips and roundtable discussions. The program is designed to inspire students, particularly those from backgrounds underrepresented in STEM, to pursue careers in cancer research.

Eligibility
Applicants must be at least 16 years old by June 8, 2026, and must be rising or graduating high school seniors. Must be U.S. citizens or have U.S. Permanent Resident status for the in-person program.
