Winship Summer Scholars Research Program

The Winship Summer Scholars Research Program is a six-week summer research experience at Emory University for rising and graduating high school seniors. Students are paired one-on-one with a Winship physician or lab-based researcher to conduct hands-on cancer research in an active laboratory. Participants also attend faculty lectures, roundtable discussions with cancer survivors, and field trips to clinical and research facilities.

Eligibility

Must be a rising or graduating high school senior and at least 16 years old by the start of the program. In-person applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents; on-campus housing is not provided.
