Xavier University of Louisiana's Star Programs (MATHStar I & II, BIOStar, CHEMStar, PHYStar) are three-week commuter summer enrichment courses designed to give middle and high school students a jumpstart on high school STEM courses before enrolling in them in the fall. Participants engage in interactive lectures, labs, team projects, and guest speaker sessions led by qualified instructors and undergraduate tutor-mentors.

Eligibility

Open to middle and high school students (7th–12th grade) who are enrolling in the corresponding high school course in the upcoming fall. Financial assistance is prioritized for low-income families in the Greater New Orleans Area.
