
UC Davis Young Scholars Program
The UC Davis Young Scholars Program is a six-week summer residential research program designed to introduce approximately 40 high-achieving high school students to original scientific research in university laboratories. Participants work one-on-one with research faculty in the biological, agricultural, environmental, and natural sciences, preparing a journal-quality paper and symposium presentation while earning five units of university credit.

Eligibility
Must be a rising junior (sophomore when applying) or rising senior (junior when applying), at least 16 years old by the first day of the program and under 18 by the last day, and a permanent U.S. resident currently residing and attending school in the U.S.
