The Young Scholars Program (YSP) at Northeastern University offers Massachusetts rising high school seniors hands-on research experience in university laboratories across engineering, science, and health sciences. Participants work directly with faculty and graduate researchers, attend engineering career seminars, explore college life, and take field trips to corporate and government research facilities.

Eligibility

Must be a permanent Massachusetts resident (living and attending school in MA) within commuting distance of Northeastern University, a rising high school senior (completed 11th grade), and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Recommended minimum 3.5 unweighted GPA.
